watching gathers angels begin

darkness across lonely beasts

Now the day is over，

現(xiàn)在天色已晚，

Night is drawing nigh，

夜幕漸漸來(lái)臨，

Shadows of the evening

夜的陰影

Steal across the sky.

籠罩了整片天空。

Now the darkness gathers，

天色愈見(jiàn)漆黑，

Stars begin to peep；

星星開(kāi)始閃現(xiàn)，

Birds, and beasts, and fowers

鳥(niǎo)兒、野獸和花草，

Soon will be asleep.

很快就進(jìn)入了夢(mèng)鄉(xiāng)。

Through the lonely darkness，

在這寂靜的黑夜，

May the angels spread

也許有天使飛來(lái)

Their white wings above me，

展開(kāi)白色的翅膀，

Watching round my bed.

盤旋在我的床上。
