Tips　核實邀請對象身份

法律規定，中國境內單位和個人均可為外國人簽發邀請函，但必須對邀請內容的真實性負責，否則將承擔相應的法律責任。在對外貿易交往中，也時常出現對方假裝要來華參觀，而實質上是騙取邀請函的情況，甚至有的不法分子入境后從事非法活動，導致外貿公司法人替對方承擔了刑事責任。因此，外貿公司要注意識別客戶的真實性，切忌隨便簽發邀請函。

【用法解析】

2.in person　親自

Tips　表達“觀念”的詞匯

表達總體印象，除對話所示“I've got a general picture of ”以外，還可以使用“It gave me a good idea of ...”的句式，兩句中的“picture”和“idea”可互換，還可以用“view”和“understanding”等詞匯代替。

Unit 4　商務會餐　Business Dinner

無論是接待外賓，還是出差拜訪，通常都避免不了要共進一兩次商務會餐。商務會餐可以創造良好的氛圍，促進雙方的關系，以便更加深入地合作。下面就以客戶經理陳琳與布魯諾先生進餐為例進行講解，在下文講解商務出差章節時，將不再贅述。

【用法解析】

“treat”有“款待”的意思，所以表示請客時可以用“be one's treat”的形式，也可簡單說“my treat”，如“My treat this time.（這次我請客）”。其他表示“我請客”的句式還有“on me”，例如“Lunch is on me today.（今天午飯我請客）”。

4.on the house　免費；由店家出錢
