This work uses color ink techniques and combines elements of Impressionism and Constructivism to recall the history of overland and maritime Silk Roads as well as the modern metropolises connected by high-speed railways today. It depicts the sites of Chinese and foreign civilizations and architectural miracles in which the ancient Roman gladiators and the terracotta warriors of the Qin Dynasty echo each other, embodying the important role of the “Belt and Road” Initiative in the connectivity of various countries under globalization.
