作品整體采用國畫工筆技法，局部以寫意手法表現出植物的蔥郁和年代感。兩組建筑則是采用遠虛近實的手法：其中的皇家建筑色彩輝煌典雅，表現出故宮的宏偉肅穆及悠久；高聳的中國尊與之產生富有張力的對比效果，近景寫實的畫面布置以突出“尊”的崛起與視覺張力。

This work adopts traditional techniques of Gongbi (fine brushwork) on general and uses the style of Xieyi (freehand brushwork) to depict the lush plants and express the sense of the past times. The buildings in the background are blurred, while the near ones are depicted in concrete: the imperial buildings are resplendent and elegant, showing the majesty and long history of the Forbidden City; the towering China Zun (a type of Chinese ritual bronze) produces a contrast effect with the palace and the close-up realistic layout highlights the rise of “Zun” and its visual tension.
