6 General Arrangement of Main Power House
6.1 Basic Requirement
6.1.1 The general layout of the main power house shall be adaptable to the electric power production process,satisfy the requirements for installation,operation and maintenance and ensure that equipment layout is rational,space utilization is compact,the piping,wiring,and cabling is short,simple and neat,and the accesses for patrol inspection are unobstructed.
6.1.2 The areas in the main power house shall be arranged according to the functional requirements of the equipment and systems in a centralized and combined manner to attain definite function division and simple system connections.If the actual technical process and environmental conditions permit,the auxiliary equipment should be arranged outdoors or semi-outdoors.
6.1.3 The main power house may be arranged in three rows consisting of turbine house,coal bunker bay or combined deaerator and coal bunker bay,and boiler house,or in four rows consisting of turbine house,deaerator bay,coal bunker bay,and boiler house,or in other forms such as side coal bunker arrangement mode.
6.1.4 The arrangement of main power house shall provide favorable working environment for operation and maintenance personnel,comply with the applicable national labor protection codes currently in force;and the equipment arrangement shall meet the relevant requirements for protection against fire,explosion,damp,dust,corrosion,and freezing.
6.1.5 The color of facilities,panels,pipelines and platform staircases surrounding and within the main power house area shall be concordant.The platform staircases and railings should be of uniform sizes.
6.1.6 The column spacing in main power house should be uniform;and unequal column spacing can also be adopted provided that it can meet the arrangement requirements of the main equipment.
6.1.7 The arrangement of main power house shall be considered reasonably according to the plant area terrain,equipment characteristics and construction conditions.
6.1.8 The arrangement of main power house shall allow for further expansion according to the requirements of overall planning.
6.1.9 The arrangement of directly air-cooled system shall be in harmony with that of main power house,and shall comply with 17.8.4 herein.
