一、電影簡介
2015年上映的《灰姑娘》（Cinderella）改編自經典同名童話故事，制作精良，場景精美，是2015年最美最夢幻最令人期待的愛情故事。該片獲第17屆美國青少年選擇獎（TCA：Teen Choice Award）最佳科幻／奇幻電影和女主角兩項提名。大陸上映僅三天，票房近2億。

實用寶典
1. I’m all right, but you’ve nearly frightened the life out of him.
frighten the life out of sb.字面意思是“把命（或魂）都嚇出來了”或“嚇到某人”。英語中表達“受驚嚇，使害怕”，可直接用scare或frighten。但更生動的說法有scare the (utter) hell out of，scare sb. to death，frighten the pants off，scare the crap out of。
2. Nor yours either, I’ll bet.
英語中如果對某事有信心或有把握，可以說I bet或I’ll bet，相當于I’m sure that... （我敢打賭；我敢肯定；保證沒錯）。埃拉跟偶遇的王子說，家人對她不太好，王子表示很遺憾，埃拉回答說“錯不在你”，王子也半打趣地答道“應該也不是你的錯”，并在句尾加上I’ll bet。需要注意的是，英語中I bet一般置于句首，后跟完整的句子，如：I bet he will be late.（我敢打賭他會遲到）

shouldn’t be中，shouldn’t的[t]不發音，be的[b]發音。
劇情2：再見鐘情
國王即將離世，他希望為了國家的安定而政治聯姻。自私殘忍的繼母禁止埃拉參加舞會。教母出現在絕望的埃拉面前，她用魔法幫助埃拉順利到達王宮。美麗的埃拉吸引了所有人的目光，她與王子共舞，兩人深深相愛。然而，午夜過后魔法會消失，埃拉必須在最后一次鐘聲前離開，慌亂中，她丟失了一只水晶鞋。

英語中be doomed表示“命中注定的，難逃一死的”，表示注定不太好的結局。sb./sth. is doomed，如The plan is doomed.（這計劃注定失敗）。be doomed后面可加to do sth.，但跟名詞的情況比較多，且多是failure, disappointment, frustration, death等含有負面意義的詞。
2. But his head was turned by a girl with glass slippers.
turn one’s head此處不是字面含義“扭過頭去，回頭”，指的是“使某人自負，使某人滿意，令……沖昏頭腦”。如Sudden prosperity had turned his head.突然暴富沖昏了他的頭腦。

三、文化大巴
Fairy Godmother：傳說中具有魔力的仙女，因為法國作家奧努瓦夫人（Madame d’Aulnoy）和查爾斯·佩羅（Charles Perrault）的童話故事而家喻戶曉。童話故事中大都有各種動物、亡母的靈魂，而仙女教母對主人公的命運影響至大。他們所扮演的角色其實等同于基督教禮儀中的教父／母，保護并教育受洗者。
四、花絮集錦
1. 影片中埃拉在舞會上穿的藍色舞裙令人驚艷，這套舞裙鑲嵌了1萬顆施華洛世奇水晶，16名裁縫耗費了近550小時才完工。
2. 電影里埃拉的水晶鞋只出現在特寫鏡頭里。拍攝中，女主角穿著相同形狀的皮鞋，后期通過特效做成水晶鞋的樣子
