Jack: Mary, it seems that your family and friends have been calling you recently, am I right?
杰克：瑪麗，似乎最近你的家人和朋友經(jīng)常給你打電話，是吧？
Mary: Yes, they have been concerned about me finding a job.
瑪麗：是的，他們一直都很關(guān)心我找工作的情況。
Jack: What do they say?
杰克：他們都說什么了？
Mary: They want to recommend some jobs to me.
瑪麗：他們說想給我推薦幾份工作。

如何面對推薦工作
雖然有些求職者也煞費苦心地努力找工作，卻收效甚微，找不到令自己滿意的工作。這時候，如果有誰來推薦工作，就算是幫了大忙了。
Jack: Really? What jobs are they?
杰克：是嗎？都是什么工作啊？
Mary: My father wants me to work as a trainee in his company.
瑪麗：我爸爸想讓我去他所在的公司實習(xí)。
Jack: It's great!
杰克：挺好的呀！
Mary: My aunt says her company is in need of an assistant now, and she wants me to give it a try..
瑪麗：我姑姑說她公司現(xiàn)在缺個助理，讓我去試試。
Jack: This is a good opportunity.
杰克：這是個好機(jī)會。
Mary: One of my friends tells me that his company is hiring in a large scale and he wants me to go for an interview.
瑪麗：我的一個朋友說現(xiàn)在他的公司在大量招人，想讓我去面試一下。
找工作不僅僅是求職者自己的事情，相關(guān)的親朋好友都會獻(xiàn)計獻(xiàn)策，幫忙推薦合適的工作。畢竟他們已經(jīng)在社會上工作了許久，經(jīng)驗和人脈都比較豐富。如果有他們幫忙，找起工作來就會輕松許多，而且他們推薦的工作比較知根知底，相比而言還是安全可靠的。
Jack: You can give it a try! May be you will succeed.
杰克：你可以去試試！說不定會成功呢。
Mary: I know. Let me think it over.
瑪麗：我知道，讓我再好好想想。
Jack: If you have any good jobs, keep an eye for me!
杰克：有什么好工作記得幫我留意一下啊！
Mary: I will.
瑪麗：那是一定了。
許多學(xué)校也非常關(guān)注畢業(yè)生的就業(yè)情況，因為畢業(yè)生的就業(yè)率在某種程度上也關(guān)乎學(xué)校的聲譽(yù)和招生情況，因此許多高校會專門設(shè)立就業(yè)指導(dǎo)中心，為學(xué)生提供大量的就業(yè)信息。在臨近畢業(yè)的時候，學(xué)校也會組織招聘會和其他活動，以便為畢業(yè)生推薦工作。
