Lesson 28　主語+be+as+形容詞+as……

句型“主語+be+as+形容詞+as……”從結構來看與比較句型“as……as”相同，但是從意義上看本句型是一個比喻句，而不是程度上的比較。本句型中的形容詞只能是形容詞，而等級比較句中的形容詞可以替換成副詞。

我的新手機大得像一個掌上電腦。

●Your newborn baby is as small as a mouse.

你新生的嬰兒小得像一只老鼠。

●It’s very cold outside.Lucy’s fingers are as cold as carrots.

外面非常冷，露西的手指冷得看上去像胡蘿卜。

●This young man is as strong as a cattle.

這個年輕的小伙子壯得像頭牛。

●The tree is as tall as the building.

這棵樹和那棟樓一樣高。

●Michael is as bright as George.

Tips

比較句型的“as……as”中前一個“as”是副詞，后一個“as”是連詞。例如：Bill is as fat as Tom.比爾像湯姆那么胖。
