except/save as otherwise provided

【英文】Except as otherwise provided，where a decision cannot be arrived at by consensus，the matter at issue shall be decided by voting.

【譯文】除另有規定外，當某一決策無法取得一致同意時，爭論問題由投票決定。

【解釋】except as otherwise provided/stipulated意為“除另有規定外”，一般用于法律、商貿、保險等合同。except as otherwise provide/stipulated 的同義短語為except/save as provided/stipulated以及unless otherwise provided/ stipulated。

再如：

1.Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement，each party shall eliminate its customs duties on originating textile and apparel goods in accordance with its Schedule to Annex IV（Tariff Elimination）.〔譯文：除本協議另有規定外，各方應按照附件四《免稅》一覽表對紡織、服裝原產品免征關稅?！?/p>
