2.2 General Provisions on Design for Energy Saving of Telecommunication Centres(Stations)

2.2.1 The thermal performance for building envelopes of telecommunication centres(stations)shall meet relevant requirements as stipulated in Article 4.2.2 of Design Standard for Energy Efficiency of Public Buildings GB 50189-2005.

2.2.2 The design of telecommunication centres(stations)shall control the shape coefficient.The shape coefficient should not be too big.The shape coefficient of telecommunication centres(stations)in severe cold or cold regions shall be less or equal to 0.40.

2.2.3 The area ratio of window to wall for telecommunication centres(stations)at different orientation shall meet the requirements of Design Standard for Energy Efficiency of Public Buildings GB 50189-2005.

2.2.4 Telecommunication centres(stations)shall not be equipped with large area of curtain walls made of glass(or other transparent materials).

2.2.5 Whole year unattended equipment rooms shall not be equipped with external windows.

2.2.6 For telecommunication centres(stations)built in areas of hot summer and warm winter or hot summer and cold winter and those built in cold regions with high cooling load,external windows should have sunshades outside.The shading coefficient shall meet the requirements of Design Standard for Energy Efficiency of Public Buildings GB 50189-2005.

2.2.7 Telecommunication centres(stations)in severe cold or cold regions shall not have open type staircases and open type outer corridor.

2.2.8 Outer doors of telecommunication centres(stations)shall adopt the measures of heat insulation and energy saving.The outer door of telecommunication centres(stations)in severe cold regions shall be equipped with foyers;and those of telecommunication centres(stations)in cold regions shall be equipped with foyers,and ifthe foyers are not equipped with,the measures to reduce cold air infiltration shall be taken.

2.2.9 The openings and holes that cables and pipelines of telecommunication centres(stations)pass through building envelope shall be sealed tightly by fire stopping materials of equivalent fire endurance according to requirements of Technical Specification for Application of Fire Stopping in Buildings CECS 154:2003.

2.2.10 Theinternal surface temperature of outer walls and thermal bridge parts at roofs of telecommunication centres(stations)shall not be lower than the dew point temperature of indoor airs.When the temperature difference between theupper layer air-conditioned rooms and lower layer airconditioned roomof telecommunication centres(stations)is high,it shall be ensured that the internal surface temperature of upper and lower rooms shall not be lower than the dew point temperature of indoor airs.

2.2.11 The platforms for air conditioning outdoor units of telecommunication centres(stations)should be nearby the air conditioning indoor units.The platforms for air conditioning outdoor units should be open wide,not facing to the west.And proper area of platform for outdoor units shall be reserved in accordance with the quantity and arrangement mode of air conditioning outdoor units.
