聽完今天的對話之后，我們要學(xué)習(xí)一個在中文和英文當(dāng)中表達(dá)會有差異的短語，就是“金色的頭發(fā)”。

So the explanation for this is quite simple. I guess in Chinese，you think it's “gold hair”. For us we don't think the color is quite gold. We think it's more blonde，so we say “blonde hair”. And if you have kind of blonde hair and kind of brown hair，we say dirty blonde.

在中文當(dāng)中我們有一個表達(dá)叫“金發(fā)碧眼”，我們直接翻譯“金發(fā)”就是“金色的頭發(fā)”，叫“gold hair”，但是對于外國人來說，他們覺得這種顏色其實還沒有那么“金”，他們把這種顏色叫作“blonde”，所以是“blonde hair”。

So for the bonus I'll teach you something interesting. Especially when talking about girls，you can say she is a blonde，or you can say she is a brunette. Of course blonde means she has light hair. Brunette means she has dark hair，either black or brown.

So you could ask somebody：What kind of girls do you like? Do you like blondes or brunettes?

Personally I like brunettes because I think Chinese girls are the most beautiful girls in the world.
