Foreword

This code is prepared by the requirement of Announcement of printing and distribution of establishment and revision plans for national standards in engineering construction in 2001-2002（Jian Biao［2002］No.85）of Ministry of Construction of the People's Republic of China.This code is revised on the basis of GB 50169-92 Electrical equipment installation engineering　Code for construction and acceptance of grounding devices by China Electric Power Research Institute and the relevant departments.

This code comprises 4 chapters with the main contents as follows:

3.Grounding of electric equipment.

4.Transfer and acceptance.

The provisions printed in bold type in this code are compulsory ones and must be enforced strictly.
