4　SF6 Circuit Breaker

4.1　Basic Requirements

4.1.1　This chapter is applicable to post-type and tank-type SF6 circuit breaker with rated voltage of 3kV-750kV.

4.1.2　SF6 circuit breaker shall not be upside-down，impacted or vibrated violently during the transportation，loading and unloading；it shall be loaded and transported according to the requirements of the manufactory if specified.

4.1.3　On-site unloading shall meet the following requirements:

1　Crane shall be selected by the weight of product package.

2　Notes in the instruction and indication requirements in the package shall be read carefully and enforced to prevent the package and products from being damaged.

4.1.4　Inspection for SF6 circuit breaker after arriving at the site shall meet the following requirements:

1　The package shall be undamaged before unpacking.

2　Parts，spare parts，special tools and appliance of equipment shall be completeand meet the requirements of purchase contract，as well as free from rust，damage and deformation.

3　Insulating parts shall be free from deformation，damping，cracks and peeling.

4　Surface of porcelain elements shall be free，as well as free from cracks and damage；casting shall be free from blister.

5　As for parts filled with SF6（nitrogen or dry air），the pressure value shall meet the requirements detailed in the technical documentations of the product.

6　Components of impact recorder shall be installed according to the requirements in the technical documentations of the product；its impact acceleration shall not be greater than the requirements in the technical documentations of the product；impact records shall be filed together with the installation technical documentation.

7　Supports provided by the manufacturer shall be free from deformation，damage，rust and zinc coating shedding；stone bolt provided by the manufacturer shall meet the requirements of design and the technical documentations of the product；bottom of stone bolt shall be installed with anchor.

8　Delivery certificates and technical information shall be complete，and shall meet the requirements of purchase contract.

4.1.5　Storage of SF6 circuit breakers after arriving at the site shall meet the requirements in the technical documentations of the product and shall meet the following requirements as well:

1　The equipment shall be placed in the flat and smooth place free from seeper and corrosive gas in the original package，as well as stored by group according to the serial number.Corresponding rain-proof measures shall be provided for equipment with rain-proof requirements.

2　As for the arc extinguish chamber，tank body and insulating post filled with SF6，their pre-charged pressure value shall be inspected regularly and recorded according to the requirements in the technical documentations of the product；measures shall be adopted in time in the case of abnormal conditions.

3　Insulating parts，special material，special small-size tools and appliance，and spare parts，etc.should be stored in the dry room.

4　Bushing of tank-type breaker should be placed horizontally.

5　Porcelain elements should be properly placed and forbidden to collapse，crash or any damage suffered outside.

6　As for the storage of components non-gas filled，protective measures shall be carried out according to the installation progress，storage time and environment.
