3.5　Erection of Base Plates

3.5.1　The size and setting of base plate should meet the specifications of design document.When there is not the specifications in the design，it should meet the relevant specifications of national standard in effect:GB 50231"General code for construction and acceptance of mechanical equipment installation engineering".

3.5.2　Before the construction，it is necessary to draw the base grout base plate arrangement drawing according to the arrangement drawing of equipment，bolt arrangement drawing of equipment foundation and outline size of base of equipment.

3.5.3　There should be one group of base plates at least set beside every anchor bolt.The base plate group should be close to the main stress-bearing position of anchor bolt and equipment.

3.5.4　The size and quantity of base plate should be determined according to the load of equipment，tightening force of foundation bolt and compressive strength of concrete.

3.5.5　To use the base grout method to install the base plate should meet the following specifications:

1　When processing the large flat base plate，there should be the exhaust vent in its middle in design；

2　Before the installation of equipment，the strength of concrete of base grout should reach the design strength of foundation concrete.

3　When the construction of base grout，it is necessary to measure the raw material，and at the same time，it is necessary to make the test block for strength test.
