對于外貿新人來說,郵件開發信是其必須學習和掌握的客戶開發方法之一,其在開發客戶上有低價有效的優勢。
一封好的郵件開發信能成功吸引客戶,下面來看一個范例。

從案例可以看出,開發信篇幅一般不宜過長,內容開頭應主動解釋通過何種方式獲取的客戶信息,接著應重點介紹寫信的目的和公司的相關信息,最后一般會以期待客戶回信之類的語句結尾,最后還應將個人及公司的聯系方式附在正文結尾后面,以便客戶聯系,所留聯系方式應盡量全面。
一封全面規范的開發郵件僅僅只是基本要求,在實際運用過程中,外貿人員還需要掌握一些技巧,讓開發信更有吸引力和可讀性。
◆ 慎用鏈接:若在開發信中添加相關鏈接,則系統很有可能會認為其存在潛在威脅,從而導致郵件發送不出去,若必須添加鏈接,則可以將其中的http部分去掉,這樣郵件可以順利發送,客戶也能打開鏈接。
◆ 一對一單獨發送:群發郵件對陌生或不熟悉的客戶來說是一種很不禮貌的行為,也很容易引起反感。相反,一對一發送是對客戶的尊重,也更容易贏得好感。
◆ 語言精簡,排版規整:郵件的格式會給客戶留下最直接的感受,排版凌亂的郵件客戶不會想繼續閱讀,語言啰嗦的內容也會讓客戶覺得枯燥乏味、浪費時間。寫作過程中應盡量精簡規范,將所述事項說清楚即可,不必過分重復或擴展。
