Hong Zhang(張宏),醫學博士(Medical Doctor,M.D.),美國得克薩斯州蘇格蘭禮儀式兒童醫院(Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children)脊柱研發中心主任,得克薩斯州大學西南醫學中心(University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center)骨科副教授。畢業于中國天津醫科大學,在中國天津市天津醫院完成骨科醫師培訓。獲國際骨矯形與創傷外科學會(SICOT)獎學金資助于意大利米蘭市的蓋氏骨矯形外科研究學院(Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi)接受培訓,后在美國得克薩斯州大學西南醫學中心(University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center)骨科做研究學者(Research Fellow),是北美骨科研究學會(ORS)和北美脊柱側凸學會(SRS)會員,Spine(《脊柱》)雜志審稿人。主要從事重度脊柱畸形,青少年特發性脊柱側凸,小兒早發性脊柱畸形的臨床及相關基礎研究。在國際著名的骨科雜志上發表論文20余篇,在國際著名的骨科學術會議上發表論文演講70余篇次。參與最新出版的脊柱外科教科書The Textbook of Spinal Surgery(3rd Edition,2011)的寫作。連續兩次獲得SRS年會John H. Moe基礎論文獎(John H. Moe Award),多次獲得SRS、北美小兒骨科學會(POSNA)、北美脊柱畸形研究基金協會(CW&SD)的研究基金。在骨科及脊柱外科領域擁有美國發明專利四項。
Dr. Hong “Johnny” Zhang is the director of creative innovations for the Sarah M. and Charles E. Seay/Martha and Pat Beard Center for Excellence in Spine Research at TSRHC. He also serves as an associate professor in the department of orthopedic surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. He earned his medical degree at Tianjin Medical University in Tianjin, China. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Tianjin Hospital in Tianjin, China. Dr. Zhang’s research focuses on growth modulation for the correction of early onset scoliosis and developing instrumentation for surgical treatment of spinal deformities. Dr. Zhang has published many peer-reviewed scientific papers and holds four patents in the orthopedic field. Dr. Zhang has received numerous awards, including two Best Basic Science Awards form the Scoliosis Research Society and research awards from the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America and Chest Wall Spine Deformity Research Foundation. He is a member of the Orthopedic Research Society and the Scoliosis Research Society.

Daniel J. Dr. Dan Sucato is currently the chief of staff and has been on staff at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children since he completed the Dorothy and Bryant Edwards Fellowship in Pediatric Orthopaedics and Scoliosis at TSRHC in 1998.He serves as Director of the Sarah M. and Charles E. Seay/Martha and Pat Beard Center for Excellence in Spine Research. He graduated magna cum laude from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York. Dr. Sucato received his medical degree (magna cum laude) and a Master of Science degree in biophysics from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine, where he also completed his general surgery internship, orthopaedic surgery residency and basic science research fellowship. He served as one of three International Traveling Fellows for the Scoliosis Research Society in 2003.During this three-week fellowship, Dr. Sucato delivered research presentations, studied and discussed complex cases, observed surgeries at centers throughout Europe and collaborated with international spine experts. Dr. Sucato is widely published in pediatric orthopaedics with a focus in the areas of spinal deformity and and hip conditions and has delivered dozens of presentations worldwide. He is a professor in the department of orthopaedic surgery at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas and is an active staff member at Children’s Medical Center Dallas. Dr. Sucato is a member of the American Medical Association; the Texas Medical Association; the Scoliosis Research Society; the North American Spine Society; the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America; and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Sucato is a reviewer for the Journal of Pediatric Orthopaedics and the Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research, and a consultant reviewer for Spine, Spinal Deformity The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery and the Journal of Spinal Cord Medicine.

B. Dr. Steve Richards is currently the Chief Medical Officer at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, and Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Richards earned his medical degree at St. Louis University School of Medicine, completed his surgical internship at the University of California, San Diego, and his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Utah. He completed the Harrington Fellowship of Pediatric Orthopaedics and Scoliosis at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in 1987.He has been very involved with the Scoliosis Research Society, having served as its President in 2012.He served as President of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America in 2009.He is on the editorial board of the Journal of Pediatric Orthopaedics and is a consultant reviewer for the journals Spine Deformity and Spine. Dr. Richards is a member of the American Orthopaedic Association; the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons; the American Medical Association; the Dallas County Medical Society; and the Texas Medical Association.
