Jack: Mary, you have found several companies that are hiring, right?
杰克：瑪麗，你不是找到幾個(gè)有意向的公司了嗎？
Mary: Yes, I have found three companies.
瑪麗：是的，一共有3個(gè)。
Jack: Have you called to inquire about the positions?
杰克：你打電話咨詢職位情況了嗎？
Mary: Yes, but the results are not so satisfying.

關(guān)于職位空缺
公司或企業(yè)既然招聘員工，就說明其內(nèi)部某些崗位存在著人員空缺，需要進(jìn)行招聘。求職者只有了解到公司的職位空缺情況，才能投其所需，找到屬于自己的工作崗位。
Jack: What's the matter?
杰克：怎么回事？
Mary: I asked the first company about the vacancy, but they had already hired someone.
瑪麗：我問第一家公司的職位空缺情況，他們說這個(gè)職位已經(jīng)招到人了。
Jack: What a pity!
杰克：真是可惜！
Mary: The second one told me that the job information was released half a year ago, and had been overdue.
瑪麗：第二家公司說那個(gè)職位信息是他們公司半年前發(fā)布的，已經(jīng)過期了。
Jack: It's frustrating!
杰克：這太煩人了！
Mary: The last company is still hiring, but not recent graduates.
瑪麗：最后那個(gè)公司還在招聘，不過不招應(yīng)屆畢業(yè)生。
一般說來，招聘單位在發(fā)布的招聘信息中所列舉的工作崗位就是現(xiàn)在所空缺的崗位，是需要引起求職者注意的。求職者在網(wǎng)上或是通過其他方式獲悉招聘單位的職位空缺后，可以打電話進(jìn)行咨詢，確認(rèn)招聘信息是否屬實(shí)，或者是直接到公司進(jìn)行詢問，再做進(jìn)一步的打算。
Jack: Wonder why they do that!
杰克：怎么會(huì)這樣？
Mary: I feel terrible now.
瑪麗：我現(xiàn)在感覺糟透了。
Jack: Don't be discouraged. Just keep trying and you will find a job eventually
杰克：別灰心，繼續(xù)努力，你肯定能找到的。
Mary: Thanks for your support and care.
瑪麗：謝謝你的支持與關(guān)心。
在咨詢職位空缺時(shí)，可直奔主題，直接詢問該公司所招聘的職位是否還需要人員，請(qǐng)求給予面試機(jī)會(huì)。也可以采用迂回戰(zhàn)略，通過詢問公司的其他情況再過渡到職位招聘上來，說不定會(huì)有意外的收獲。如果詢問的職位已經(jīng)招到人了，就可以繼續(xù)尋找下一個(gè)應(yīng)聘目標(biāo)了。
