Lesson 57　名詞/形容詞/副詞/動(dòng)詞原形+as/though……，+主句

倒裝語序的as從句，既可以表讓步，也可表原因。被倒裝的名詞前不加任何慣詞。被倒裝的動(dòng)詞原形常與“may、might、will、would”這幾個(gè)詞連用，而這幾個(gè)詞都要保留在原來的位置上，倒裝在句首的動(dòng)詞原形一般多為不及物動(dòng)詞。本句型多表示“盡管”的意思。

●Child as Tom is, he has sold papers in the street.

盡管湯姆是個(gè)孩子，他已經(jīng)在街邊賣報(bào)紙了。

●Try as she might, Mary could not find her dream lover.

盡管她非常努力，瑪麗還是找不到她的夢(mèng)中情人。

●Hard as he studies, he can’t catch up with the others.

Tips

與本句型相似的句型有“表語+that……，+主句”。在句中“that”是連詞，它引導(dǎo)的讓步狀語從句中只把形容詞和名詞提到“that”前面。例如：Young that he is, he has a plenty of experience.盡管他年輕，但是他有著豐富的經(jīng)驗(yàn)。
