Lesson 25　……whiIe/whereas……然而……

句型“……while/whereas……”屬于對照比較句型，標準形式是“第一分句A+while/whereas+第二分句B”。“while”和“whereas”常常用來連接兩個意義對立的分句，表示“而”。

Tips

“while”的常用用法有三種：

第一種作為連詞引導時間狀語從句。He was playing games while his father came in.他爸爸進來時他正在玩游戲。

第二種作為連詞引導條件狀語從句。While there is life, there is hope.留得青山在，不愁沒柴燒。

第三種作為連詞引導讓步狀語從句。While I lost in the game, I still had confidence in myself.雖然我在比賽中失敗了，我仍然對自己有信心。
