Key Factors Influencing Technology-based SMEs to Get Grant from Innofund of China

Abstract:From the development process as well as the growing trend of China's high-tech industry, the small technology-based firms are playing a more and more important role. Meanwhile, many of them are facing the difficulty of external financing, which is seriously jeopardizing these firms'fast and healthy development. The Innovation Fund for Small Technology-based Firms（Innofund）was created as an important solution to the existing financing problem, and its implementation has attracted much attention from the public. By analyzing the application status and the related corporate data of the 626 small technology-based firms located in the Zhongguancun Science Park, this paper studies the factors that affect the granting of the Innofund. It serves as a reference for those firms in this industry facing the similar problems, and as a reference for future policies making as well.
