The Most Beautiful Human Language Is the Love

Where There Is Great Love, There Are Always Miracles

Where there is great love, there are always miracles.

Love is like a butterfly. It goes where it pleases and it pleases where it goes.

If I had a single flower for every time I think about you, I could walk forever in my garden.

Within you I lose myself, without you I find myself wanting to be lost again.

At the touch of love everyone becomes a poet.

Look into my eyes —you will see what you mean to me.

Distance makes the hearts grow fonder.

I need him like I need the air to breathe.

If equal affection cannot be, let the more loving be me.

Love is a vine that grows into our hearts.

If I know what love is, it is because of you.

Please Give Love a Pair of Wing to Fly Freely

There was once a lonely girl who longed so much for love. One day while he was walking in the woods she found two starving songbirds. She took them home and put them in a small cage. She cared them with love and the birds grew strong. Every morning they greeted her with a wonderful song. The girl felt great love for the birds.

One day the girl left the door to the cage open. The larger and stronger of the two birds flew from the cage. The girl was so frightened that he would fly away. As he flew close, she grasped him wildly. Her heart felt glad at her success in capturing him. Suddenly she felt the bird go limp. She opened her hand and stared in horror at the dead bird. Her desperate love had killed him. She noticed the other bird moving back and forth on the edge of the cage. She could feel his great need for freedom. He needed to soar into the clear, blue sky. She lifted him from the cage and tossed him softly into the air. The bird circled once, twice, three times. The girl watched delightedly at the bird’s enjoyment. Her heart was no longer concerned with her own loss. She wanted the bird to be happy. Suddenly the bird flew closer and landed softly on her shoulder. It song the sweetest melody that she had ever heard.

This story tells us: The fastest way to lose love is to hold on it too tight; the best way to keep love is to give it wings!

The Warmth of the Human Nature

After moving into a new residence, there was a sudden blackout and darkness in the house before the hostess tidied up.

The hostess just touched the candle and matches when a tap at the door came from outside.

Opening the door, she found it was a small girl, who picking up her little face and asked, “Auntie is there a candle in your home?”

How so? The first day I just moved the neighbor sent for their child to borrow something. Weren’t they bullying the newcomer? Today I lend them a candle and maybe they would come to borrow onion or garlic. No. No way! So the hostess said, “Oh dear, unluckily, your aunt just moved here and don’t prepare the candle.” After that, she was about to close the door.

“Auntie, look, my mother asked for me to send it.” The small girl, like a conjurer, drew her hand from behind and raised high two thick candles.

Facing the crystal-clear eyes of the girl, the hostess was shocked, weakly leaning on the door with her hands covering her face and having no nerve to look at the girl.

The Pudding of Love

I stood in the aisle of the market for nearly ten minutes trying to make a simple decision about what type of pudding to buy. My life is such that anything with an “instant” label on it grabs my attention. But oh the memories of my mom making chocolate “cook and serve” pudding.

As I stood there in the market, I could see myself as a child waiting by the stove and watching my mom slowly stir the pudding until it reached that creamy velvet rich texture. I could see her pouring it into the cups, leaving just enough stuck to the sides of the pot to entice me to take the stirring spoon and scrape every morsel, until the pot barely needed to be cleaned.

The process of making this dreamy dessert takes patience and time. Two things I find myself lacking in my life today.
