In 2013, the German government officially proposed the“Industrie 4.0 strategy”as the vision for the future German industrial development. In line with Industrie 4.0, China has also proposed a clear roadmap for the development of China's strong industry“Made in China 2025”. At present we are facing a very fast and tremendous development and impact of the Internet-and Information-technology that opens a new space of innovation for our human society and our industries This trend is also called“Digitalization”and with this the new production model of“intelligent manufacturing”has begun to enter into the industry. This is a very powerful and dynamic trend, which can't be stopped.

Phoenix Contact, as one of the famous“hidden champions”in Germany, took the opportunity, actively and become a strong promoter and designer of this big change of the industry. With inspiring innovation and a very deep own production practice, in just a few years Phoenix Contact has already created very powerful products and solutions for the digital world.
