1　General Introduction

OBJECTIVES

International trade in goods is one of the important forms of international economic activities, and international trade practice is a specialized subject on the methods and rules of international trade in goods. This chapter will address the following issues accordingly: idea of international trade in goods，types of international trade methods and international trade legal norms as well as the structure and content of the textbook. The relevant content is divided into 4 sections:

(1) Idea of international trade in goods;

(2) Overview of international trade methods;

(3) Overview of international trade laws and norms;

(4) Structure of the textbook.
