The book focuses on three questions: How does the Communist Party of China learn? What is the relationship between the CPC's education and training of officials and its nature as a learning party? How does the Central Party School educate and train officials? From a unique perspective, the book expounds on and responds to a common concern of the international community - what made the CPC succeed, thus helping readers better understand China.

Where have we come from, and where are we going? In this day and age for China, I am always reminding myself to maintain this sense of history.
