iProps are just what they sound like. They are props that interact with a character. Actual iProp usage with a character will be discussed in next chapter. So why am I bringing it up now? You need to know where to place those interactive props when the time comes for the character to actually use the prop.
Interactive props are driven by Actionscript Markup Language, known in the iClone world as AML. For those of you who have avoided any type of scripting in the past or freeze up at the sight of code, don't worry. You don't have to know AML to use it and AML will not be covered in depth in this book, but you do need to be aware of how it works with a prop.
iProps have the AML already coded in and while you can edit it with an XML editor or notepad, you do not have to do so. It is available as a more advanced option to those iClone animators who want to manipulate the code that drives the prop.
