Using the Beats+Bassline Editor

This is the fun part of using LMMS. When LMMS first opens, we are given a Beats+Bassline Editor on the right-side of the screen. If you don't see that editor, go to the handy-dandy toolbar to select the button that opens it up! It looks similar to the following:

The Beats+Bassline Editor that we are given may have a default instrument loaded. I love synths, (this instrument is a synthesizer instrument), but I think we should start using the Beats+Bassline Editor with samples and build a beat. Building a beat with drums is the heart of electronic dance music and we need to lay a solid foundation.
