Chapter 2. The Muse Workflow
In this chapter, we'll look at the Muse workflow from the initial concept to the final website. The Muse workflow closely follows what could be described as the typical web designer's workflow, namely Planning, Creating, Previewing and Testing, and finally Publishing your site.
In this chapter we will cover:
- Differences between designing for the Web and for print
- Things to consider during the web design planning stage
- The Muse Workflow—creating a site, setting up a site plan, designing, and publishing
- Domain names and hosting
In the previous chapter, we familiarized ourselves with the Muse workspace, its toolbars, and panels. Before we jump back into Muse, let's begin by taking a look at some of the differences between designing for print and for the Web. We will look at the factors which can affect the user experience on the site which include they type of web browser used and the resolution of the user's screen.
