In this chapter, we'll create a new web application called hipstr, an application that will help us track our vinyl collection and endow us with obscure credibility. We'll build this application with each subsequent chapter by creating our own route handlers, interacting with a database, authenticating users, validating form input, and reading/writing cookies.
