Summary
With the story of this little dragon, you learned a lot more about the engine. We loaded our first sprite sheet and understood what happens under the hood of animations by creating one by ourselves. You also learned how to repeat textures seamlessly. We then added some simple gravity and implemented rectangular collision detection. Finally, we discussed how to persistently store data in a web browser and play sounds using HTML5 audio. My best score at the time of writing this chapter was 103. Why don't you try and beat me?
