Summary

In this chapter, we discussed the architecture of ESXi to start with. We also learned how to perform an interactive or scripted installation. Also, we learned about the post-installation configuration tasks that will ideally be performed on an ESXi host.

In the next chapter, we will learn about the installation and configuration of a vCenter Server.
