Installing UCSPE on VMware vSphere ESXi

The UCSPE VM can be installed on vSphere ESXi using the OVA or ZIP files. The following are steps to install the OVA file:

1. Download the OVA file.
2. In VMware vCenter, select the ESXi server, right-click on Deploy OVF Template, and select the OVA file:

1. Review the details of the OVF template, its Download size, and Size on disk. Click on Next:

1. Modify the name of the UCSPE VM, select the folder or data center, and click on Next:

1. Select the virtual disk format and destination data store to store the UCSPE VM files, and click on Next:

1. Select the destination network port group to communicate with the UCSPE VM management IP address and click on Next:

1. Review the summary of the UCSPE VM and click on Finish to start the deployment of the appliance:

In order to run UCSPE using Microsoft Hyper-V, the VMDK file should be converted to the .vhd format using tools such as System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) or any other supported third-party tools.
