N+1 redundant

In N+1 redundant mode, at least one extra power supply is available in the system in addition to the power supplies that are providing the required power for the chassis to be operational. The extra power supply is in standby mode, and load is evenly distributed among operational power supplies. In case of a single power-supply failure, standby power will replace the failed power supply on the fly.
