Toggling Cyclic to close your curve
Once you are satisfied, you will want to close your curve so it is a solid outline of our profile. An easy way to do that is to use the Toggle Cyclic feature. The steps are:
- If necessary, switch to Edit Mode.
- Click the Tools tab in the Tool Shelf on the left side of your screen.
- Under the Curves Tools section, look for Curves and click the Toggle Cyclic button. Alternatively, you can hold down Alt + C as a shortcut.
- This will connect the two open control points of your curve. Like any other curve section, you can adjust the handles to get the shape you desire:

Hitting Toggle Cyclic or Alt + C will close up your curve.
