Basic charts

Basic charts are charts that are quite common in representing the data in visual form. They include line charts, area charts, bar charts, pie charts, and so on. The following is a list of the basic charts for visualization:

• Line, area, and bar charts: These charts are used for comparing different series in x and y axes
• Heat maps: These are used to shade the cells within a matrix
• Pie charts: These are used when all of the fields are related to each other; for example, the voting percentage for different parties in an election
