Proposing a solution

After you have understood the problem, learned about the data you have available, and have made sure you can actually get access to the data, it is time for you to propose a solution. Here is where you plan what you will do to deliver the solution and what it will look like. Of course this will be just an initial plan; you will realize that you will end up changing the plan and you will find many situations that you did not consider initially. However, it is always useful to have a general route to reach your destination in mind.

Since we haven't yet talked about the methodology of model building, how to evaluate it, and the different ways there are to deliver the results, here we will talk very generically about these topics.
