To get the most out of this book

This book intended for those who are just starting out with C++, QML, and Qt 5. It would help if you already understand the C++ programming language. However, it is okay if you do not, because through our step-by-step examples, you will be able to master the language in no time. There are many sub-versions of Qt 5; please make sure that the version you're installing to your computer is at least Qt 5.10 or later so that the code is compatible with the book.
