Securing the VPC

One of the more important aspects of computing is network security. The features of the VPC allow us to put all the basic checks in place to ensure that only the services that we want to expose are reachable. The VPC introduces two network security mechanisms:

• The security groups: These protect instances within the subnet.
• The NACLs: These protect our network subnets.
