Creating the identity of the app

Now that we've generated the app, we will create a basic identity for the app by setting the icon and color scheme:

1. From PowerApps Studio, select the File menu.
2. When the File menu loads, you will be presented with the app's name and icon page. Select Browse from the icon selector and upload the icon, called icon.png, that's provided in the Lab 1 resources:

1. Set the Background color to salmon for your icon. Observe that the preview changes to reflect the updated icon:

Now that we have given our app an identity, we should save it so that we can return to it in the next lab.
