Doors and windows with Archipack
The Archipack add-on creates additional options for adding doors, windows, and stairs. Let's use it to line our walls and openings with windows, doors, and trim:
- Open the Add menu and choose Archipack | Door, then select the 160x200 dual preset.
- Rotate the door so that it's oriented with a wall.
- For a taller or wider door, use the Archipack widgets to move them or click the Archipack numbers to type in specific values.
- Using the same system, add an Archipack window, choosing the 180x110 flat 3 preset. Move it to the right wall.
- With more details entering the picture, we can adjust the previz wall layout. Cut a hole out for where the Archipack window sits and also model a quick recessed wall.
Our kitchen is looking roomier already. Our example looks like this so far:

Experiment with the other architecture options provided by Archipack and Archimesh. You can build entire scenes from their tools, which makes bashing a scene together a lot of fun!
Finally, let's add some extra decorations to our scene to liven it up.
