How is it used?

a little指“某物數量很少”，意思與little單獨使用時不同，請參考單元19。

a little與單數的不可數名詞搭配。

? Put a little of the mixture into each of the pastry cases.

在每個糕餅模具裏放一點攪拌好的混合物。

? Joe spent a little of the money and put the rest of it into his savings account.

祖用了這筆錢的一小部份，並將剩下的錢存入他自己的儲蓄戶口。
