As you have seen, you can export your templates and make them available to other users. A lot of Cacti administrators have used this feature to provide quite a number of templates to the community. In the past, finding these templates was a wearisome task as they were hidden in the Scripts and Templates section of the Cacti forum at forums.cacti.net.

More recently, however, the Cacti developers have created a page containing most of these templates. This template repository provides an overview of the existing templates, as well as some detailed information on how to add these to Cacti.
