4　Preparation for Submarine Cable Installation

4.0.1　Submarine cable installation permits shall be obtained before installation works commence.

4.0.2　Before marine installation，foreign flag vessels shall obtain the non-open waters entry approvals.

4.0.3　Beach manhole construction shall be completed before cable landing.Beach manholes shall have a grounding device whose earth resistance shall not be greater than 10Ω.

4.0.4　Pre-lay grapnel run and clearance of submarine cable routes shall be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the project contract and design document.
