3　Basic Requirements

3.0.1　Pipe construction shall meet the following requirements.

1　Design and other technical data shall be complete.Construction drawings shall be jointly reviewed and performed the technical explanation by the design company.

2　The pipe construction organization design or construction plan shall be drawn up and approved.

3　Labors,materials,instruments and testing equipments shall be basically completed.

4　The construction environment shall meet the construction demand.

5　Water,electricity,gas and other needs for construction shall meet the requirement of the construction.

3.0.2　The pipe construction shall be carried out according to the design drawing.If the design needs modification or any material needs substitution,it shall be carried out after the confirmation of the design unit.

3.0.3　The manufacturing quality and selection of pipes,pipe fittings and pipe accessories shall meet the current national or industrial standards.The piping and prefabrication of pipes,pipe fittings and pipe accessories on site shall be implemented according to the provisions of DL/T 5190.7 Code for Electric Power Construction Part 7:Piping and Prefabrication.

3.0.4　The safekeeping of pipes,pipe fittings and pipe accessories shall be implemented according to the provisions of DL/T 855 Code for Maintenance and Safekeeping of Thermal Power Equipment in Electric Power Construction.

3.0.5　The cutting and welding of pipes shall be carried out according to the provisions of DL/T 869 Code of Welding for Power Plant.

3.0.6　The insulation and painting of pipes shall be implemented according to the provisions of DL/T 5072 Code for Designing Insulation and Painting of Fossil Fuel Power Plants.Annex A is the marking of pipes.

3.0.7　The safety,environment and fire prevention of piping construction shall meet the provisions of DL 5009.1 Code of Safety Operation in Electric Construction.
