5　Gas-insulated Metal-enclosed Switchgear（GIS）

5.1　Basic Requirements

5.1.1　This chapter is applicable to GIS with rated voltage 3kV-750kV.

5.1.2　During the transportation，loading and unloading of GIS，it shall not be inverted，toppled over，impacted or shaken violently.

5.1.3　On-site unloading shall meet the following requirements:

1　Crane shall be selected according to the weight of product package.

2　Notes in the instruction and indication requirements in the package shall be read carefully and enforced to prevent the package and products from being damaged.

3　Unloading shall meet the direction and sequence of equipment installation.

5.1.4　Inspection for GIS after arriving at the site shall meet the following requirements:

1　Package shall not be damaged.

2　All components，accessories，spare parts，special tools and appliance shall be complete，meet the requirements of purchase contract，as well as free from rust，damage and deformation.

3　Porcelain elements and insulating parts shall be free from cracks and damage.

4　As for transportation unit or parts filled with dry gas，their pressure value shall meet the requirements detailed in the technical documentations of the product.

5　Components of impact recorder shall be installed according to the requirements in the technical documentations of the product，of which the impact acceleration shall not be greater than the requirements in the technical documentations of the product；impact records shall be filed together with the installation technical documentation.

6　Supports provided by the manufacturer shall be free from deformation，damage，rust and zinc coating shedding；stone bolt provided by the manufacturer shall meet the requirements of design and the technical documentations of the product；bottom of stone bolt shall be installed with anchor.

7　Delivery certificates and technical information shall be complete，and shall meet the requirements of purchase contract.

5.1.5　Storage of GIS after arriving at the site shall meet the requirements detailed in the technical documentations of the product and shall meet the following requirements as well:

1　GIS shall be placed in the flat and smooth place free from seeper and corrosive gas according to the original package.Corresponding rain-proof measures shall be provided for equipment with rain-proof requirements.

2　Accessories，spare parts，special tools and appliance，as well as special material with damp-proof requirements shall be placed in the dry room，especially"○"ring and adsorbent for assembly.

3　As for the transportation unit filled with dry gas，the pressure value shall be inspected regularly and recorded according to the requirements detailed in the technical documentations of the product；measures shall be adopted in time in the case of abnormal conditions according to the requirements detailed in the technical documentations of the product.

4　Bushing shall be placed horizontally.

5　All temporary shields for transportation shall be kept intact and shall not be taken down before installation.

6　As for the storage of components not filled with gas，protective measures shall be carried out according to the installation progress，storage time and environment.

5.1.6　Gas-insulated metal-enclosed high-voltage switchgear panel shall meet the requirements of this Chapter and the technical documentations of the product；the panel body installation and inspection shall meet the requirements of Section 6.3 in this code.
