5.2 Mill Housing

Ⅰ Main Control Item

5.2.1 Mill housing fasten bolt fastening force shall meet the requirements of design documents.

Inspection quantity:total number inspection.

Inspection method:bolt fastening record.

5.2.2 The fastening force of connection bolts between housing and top/bottom cross beams and the hot pack bolts shall meet the requirements of design documents.

Inspection quantity:total number inspection.

Inspection method:check bolt fastening record and observe.

Ⅱ General Item

5.2.3 The installation and setting of mill housing fixing bolts shall be vertical and fixed reliably.The contact among nut,gasket and base plate shall be tightened.The bolt shall be exposed outside of the nut after tighten.The uncovered bolt thread shall be no damage and screw-in direction shall be consistent except the structure reason.

Inspection quantity:20% sampling inspection and not less than 4 positions.

Inspection method:observation inspection.

5.2.4 The contact face between mill housing opening slide board and mill housing opening surface shall be tightened enough.The torque of bolts,space between two slide board and parallelism shall meet the requirements of design documents.

Inspection quantity:20% sampling inspection and not less than 4 positions.

Inspection method:inspect with torque wrench,feeler gauge and inside micrometer.

5.2.5 Allowable installation deviation of mill housing shall be in accordance with those specified in table 5.2.5.

Inspection quantity:total number inspection.

Inspection method:it should be in accordance with those specified in table 5.2.5.

5.2.6 The mill housing verticality measure shall be carried out on the rolling mill housing opening face and side face(figure 5.2.6-1);The mill housing levelness measure shall be carried out on the mill housing opening bottom face(figure 5.2.6-2);The mill housing opening centerline horizontal deviation and horizontal skew measure shall be carried out on the mill housing opening face(figure 5.2.6-3);The mill housing centerline measure shall be carried out on the mill housing opening face and inner side face(figure 5.2.6-4);The parallelism measure of tandem mill adjacent two mill housings shall be carried out on the opening face which have the same side with the mill housing(figure 5.2.6-5);The contact clearance measure between mill housing and base plate shall be carried out both in the horizental face and side face between mill housing and base plate(figure 5.2.6-6).
