4　Plate Mill

4.1　Production Capacity

4.1.1　The economic production scale shall be determined according to the product program，raw material supply，and overall plant conditions，etc.in the design.The design outputs of rolling mills in different specifications and compositions shall not be lower than the values specified in the following table 4.1.1.

Note:The design output can be determined as the lower limit if the quantity of special products is large or the percentage of controlled rolling and controlled cooling is high.

4.1.2　The specification of the rolling mill can be selected in the design according to the actual conditions，and the"Representative Specification of Rolling Mill"should be selected as far as possible.
