Speech at the Launching Ceremony of“100 Chinese Poets Visiting Yan'an”
Dear leaders and poetry friends:
First of all, on behalf of the Chinese Writers, Shikan, Poem Selection Magazine, Star poetry Journal, Poetry Monthly, Contemporary Poets and Yanhe magazine, congratulations to the success of“100 Chinese poets visiting Yan'an”. This ativity is a very memorable poetry event. Its significance is: First, this is the first national large-scale poetry event held since the new period of Yan'an, with unprecedented scale and influence. Second, the local leaders of the party and government and propaganda departments attend this meeting, which shows that cultural construction has increasingly become the core content of the party and government. Due to these two iconic meanings, this poetry event will be included in the annals of culture.
China is the only country in the world that has established the status of poetry by law. Yan'an is the birthplace of the red civilization of New China. This revolutionary hot land has the same vein with the Chinese traditional culture.It has unique poetic flavor.
Classic poetry has always been a gem on the crown of famous mountains, famous scenic spots and famous cities. Such as Wang Changling:“Green sea and heavy clouds darken the snowy mountain, lonely city overlooking the Pass of Yumen”, Mengjiao:“the horse runs quickly with happy spring breeze, one day I see all Changan blossoms”, Wang Changling:“If relatives and friends in Luoyang ask where I go, my sincere heart is keeping in the jade pot.”
“The history with a well-founded root is trustworthy history! ”100 years ago, Yan'an had only a history of suffering which had given birth to a revolutionary history! Looking forward to the next 100 years, Yan'an will certainly write a glorious construction history of modernization!
The trend setter is the real emperor, and the trend follower is the king. The farsighted people can go farther. During Yonghe year in East Jin dy nasty, 41 celebrities such as Wang Xizhi and Xie An were in Lanting, drinking and writing poetry, after 12 years, they edited a book, Wang Bo wrote the preface. This became an ancient famous case. The success of the event of the“100 Chinese Poets'visiting Yan'an”and its related poetry activities will provide confidence in the promotion of Yan'an's red culture, red civilization and red future.
