At Babson College, we educate entrepreneurial leaders who create great social and economic value everywhere.

Babson founded the academic discipline of entrepreneurship; we invented the methodology of Entrepreneurial Thought & Action?; and we redefined entrepreneurship to embrace Entrepreneurs of All Kinds?. We believe that entrepreneurship is a mindset, a way of looking at the world,and that it can be applied in any context, from corporations to startups to NGOs.

Through this book series, we are excited to share key lessons from renowned Babson faculty members with readers around the world. Our Babson faculty members are global leaders in entrepreneurship education. Their unmatched insights into business and entrepreneurship ensure that Babson remains a pioneer in entrepreneurship education and on the leading edge of research and pedagogy.

As we approach our Centennial in 2019, we are focused on preparing entrepreneurs to lead in a new way, creating social and economic value simultaneously, and, in doing so, transforming lives, businesses, and communities for the better. By offering a transformative experience,fostering intentional diversity and preparing graduates to apply Entrepreneurial Thought & Action? in all settings, our graduates are ready to lead and make a difference in our rapidly changing world.

At 40,000 and growing, Babson’s global network of alumni and friends is poised to tackle big challenges–climate change, youth unemployment, global poverty–with entrepreneurial energy and Babson spirit;creating jobs, strengthening communities and generating social and economic value that goes beyond personal gain and extends to families,employers and society as a whole.
