Lesson 68　If onIy……！要是……多好啊！/但愿……

句型“If only……！”是一種表示愿望的感嘆句，句子有時用虛擬語氣。如果與現實相反，句子部分要用過去時；如果與過去事實相反，句子部分用過去完成時。翻譯為“要是……多好啊！/但愿……”。

要是能找到我的手機就好了。

Tips

“if only”還可以用于條件假設句型，表示只有在此條件下才能發生的事。例如：If only you can give me a nice present in return, I will give this set of books for you.如果你能回贈一個精致的禮物，我就把這套書送你。
