Lesson 55　Were/Had/ShouId+主語+謂語其他部分+……，+主句如果……，就……

句型“Were/Had/Should+主語+謂語其他部分+……，+主句”屬于省去“if”的虛擬條件狀語從句所引起的倒裝。當“if”虛擬條件狀語從句的謂語動詞中含有“were、had、could、should”，則可以將if省去，而將從句的主語置于“were、had、should、could”后，翻譯為“如果……，就……”。

Tips

如果本句型的虛擬條件狀語從句中含有否定詞“not”，應該將其放在主語之后。例如：Had your mother not seen mine, she would not have known your bad news.如果你的媽媽沒有遇見我的媽媽，她將不會知道你的壞消息。
